Homecoming King and Queen
Voting for Homecoming King and Queen will take place on the cafeteria stage today and tomorrow during all lunches.
There will be a STUCO meeting directly after school on Monday.

Don't forget to come out to our Homecoming Pep Rally Wednesday, September 20th at 6:30 on the JV field. We will also have carnival games from 6:30 to 7:15.

The freshmen team is 4 and 0 in district play, they beat Red Oak last night. Congratulations to them on an outstanding season so far.
Last night the Lake Ridge Tennis team dropped a tough match against Midlothian 9 to 10. Despite the heartbreaking loss, big performances were turned in by Francisco Huerta, Kennedy Cook, Hope Martin, Skylar Stover, Makayla Otakpor, and Johnny Beaman.

The Lake Ridge Drumline competed at the H.E.B. Drumline Contest in Bedford this past Saturday morning, and with two strong performances, placed 2nd in class 5A amongst some of the best drumlines in North Texas.
Several students from Lake Ridge participated in the TMEA Region 5 Jass Band auditions in Fort Worth this past Saturday morning. With a strong audition, Trey Mulkey placed 2nd in the trombone, and will now advance to the TMEA Area B level of competition next week. Congratulations, Trey!
Creative Writing Club
The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 26th in room A-119 at 3 p.m. Meetings will be held every Tuesday and Mr. Olsen will provide snacks.
League of Legends Club
Like playing game? Join the League of Legends club. This club promotes team work, competition, sportsmanship, and civility.
This club creates and programs Lego Robots to accomplish tasks, complete mazes and other cool stuff. Students will rotate between creating and programming robots, designing challenges and other engineering/construction kits.
It is open to any students and it will be good for your resume.
