Lady Eagle Basketball Team Tryouts
Tryouts for the Lady Eagle Basketball Team will be held October 18th through October 20th from 3:00- 4:00 p.m. in the PE gym. If you are not in the girls' basketball athletics class, and you are interested in trying out, you will need to come sign up in Coach Gray's office in P-105 next to the main gym. All participants must complete all online athletic forms, and have a completed physical prior to October 18th. You will not be allowed to tryout without completing the online forms and submitting a completed physical form. Please see Coach Gray, if you have any questions.
Freshmen, please vote for your class officers Thursday and Friday at all lunches. You must have your school ID.
The next Key Club meeting will be Wednesday, October 18th. There will be two meetings, one before school at 7:00 a.m. in room A-337 and one in the library at 3:00 p.m. Don't forget, membership fees are due Friday, October 20th by 3:00 p.m. Please turn in your dues to Mrs. San Miguel in room A-337.
UIL Academics Current Issues and Events Team
Are you a news junkie? Do you actually pay attention to current events? Do you like to watch the news every night? Then you need to attend the first interest meeting for the UIL Academics Current Issues and Events Team. We compete with schools around the state to see who knows the most about current events. We won state in 2016! The will be Tuesday, October 17th at 7:00 a.m. in room A-337. We hope to see you then.
Dual Credit Registration
Dual credit students,
Spring registration for TCC classes will be completed online. Beginning on Monday, October 16th, you will need to go to the reception desk in the counseling office for your registration ticket. The ticket will have guided instructions for registration. This is mandatory. You will not be enrolled for any TCC classes in the spring unless you complete the online registration process. Please visit the counseling office as soon as possible to pick up your ticket, then register for class. See your counselor or Mrs. Johnson regarding any questions you need answered.
Congratulations to the Lake Ridge Tennis team for defeating Waxahachie last night 17 to 2. The team was lead by Kennedy Cook, Olivia Crum, Grace Schmidt, Johnny Beaman, and Colton Hrabal. Up next, we compete in the playoffs. Our first round match will be against Grandbury High School next Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Burleson High School.
