Important news for the week includes new bell schedule, spirit week next week, and mascot tryouts.

News for the week of August 8/19 includes spirit week 8/19 through 8/23, mascot tryouts, and club meeting information.

Mansfield ISD seniors and juniors can take their college admissions exams at no cost this year.

Important events this week include: the Tennis team defeats Desoto, Eagle Academy starts September 3rd after school, Black Out shirts are on sale for $15, and the Gay Straight Alliance meetings start September 4th.

Important news this week includes: Book club meeting 9/3, Gay Straight Alliance meeting 9/4, UIL Current Issues & Events 9/5, and buy your Black Out shirts while they are still available.

This week Debate team, Environmental Club, Key Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes are meeting.  Varsity Football plays Timberview at Newsom Stadium on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

This week there are several clubs meeting (Multicultural, Korean, Vietnamese) as well as a PTSA meeting, and a parent meeting for students interested in playing baseball at LRHS.

Varisty Football plays Desoto on Friday at Desoto.  Please note the clear bag policy at their stadium.  Bowling is about to start back up, and kudos to the Lake Ridge Tennis team.

Theater is holding open auditions for their next production.  Picture retakes are coming this week.

This week is Homecoming.  There is a Community Pep Rally on Wednesday, and the game is Friday against Waxahachie.
