Maddie Halfmann, nominated by her coaching staff, is the MISD Female Athlete of the Month.  Maddie is a volleyball player for Lake Ridge High School.  She is an excellent example of a student-athlete.  She has played multiple positions for the Eagles this year pushing her to a new level of being uncomfortable which she has accepted whole-heartedly.  In her classes, her grades are exceptional, and her coaches are proud of the young woman she is growing into.
