The 2025-2026 school year will begin on Wednesday, August 13th.

Enrollment/Registration (for students NEW to MISD)

For students that will be new to MISD this year, you must complete the online enrollment on the MISD website first.  Once you have completed ALL of the steps, you will be contacted by the school to set up an appointment with a counselor to select classes.  

Registration (for RETURNING MISD students)

If your student was enrolled in MISD last year, you will receive an email in July about completing the Registration for your returning students.  

Proof of Residency

All students must submit a Proof of Residency (POR) before the start of school.  Acceptable documents include:  electric bill, gas bill, or water bill (showing the service address and dated May 2025 or later.)  For more information see the MISD website.  Put the student's name and ID number on the document an email it to lakeridge_por@misdmail.org.

Eagle Camp (New Student Orientation)

Eagle Camp for incoming 9th graders and any student new to Lake Ridge will be on Thursday,  July 31st from  5:30 - 7:30 pm.  It will include a tour of the building and a chance to speak with sponsors of student organizations.

Schedules

Schedules will be released in Skyward prior to the start of school.  Please check your email later this summer for the date.

Meet the Teacher

Meet the Teacher will take place on Thursday, August 21st from 5:00 - 6:30 pm.  Please make sure you have access to your student's schedule when you arrive since it will not be provided.
