Enrollment/Registration (for students NEW to MISD)

New student enrollment for the 2026 – 2027 school term begins May 2026 for grades 1-12.

Registration (for RETURNING MISD students)

Returning student registration for the 2026 – 2027 school term begins mid-July 2026. An email will be sent to current families when enrollment officially opens.  This email will be sent to the email address you have listed in your Skyward Family Access account.

Proof of Residency (POR)

We welcome you and your family to a new school year! Before school starts in August all new students to Mansfield ISD AND all returning students need to provide proof of residency.  Your proof of residence document(s) can be emailed to lakeridge_por@misdmail.org.  Your documents will be reviewed by our PEIMS Specialist in June.

Acceptable forms of Proof of Residency:

• Utility Bills (Electric, Gas, or Water): Must have service address where you live and service dates starting from May or later. If the utility bill or document doesn’t have a May 2026 or later date, it will not be accepted, and you will need to bring new documentation to the campus.
• Lease Agreement (for newly established residences within 30 days): If you don't have a utility bill yet, a lease agreement may work if it's less than 30 days old and states that bills are paid by the landlord. It should list the student(s) and include signatures from both the landlord and tenant.

** New students: Must provide current proof of residency within 30 days of registering at the school. 

 If your Primary Residence Changes:

*If you change addresses after submitting proof of residency, you need to notify the campus. Depending on your new address, your child might not be able to attend the same campus.

Eagle Camp (New Student Orientation)

Eagle Camp for incoming 9th graders and any student new to Lake Ridge will be on Thursday,  August 6th from  5:30 - 7:30 pm.  It will include a tour of the building and a chance to speak with sponsors of student organizations.

Schedules

Schedules will be released in Skyward prior to the start of school.  Please check your email later this summer for the date.

Meet the Teacher

Meet the Teacher will be Monday, August 17th from 5:00 - 6:30 pm. Please make sure you have access to your student's schedule when you arrive since it will not be provided.

School Supply List

We do not have a general school supply list. After your child starts school, each teacher will let them know what supplies are needed for their class.
