UIL Academics

UIL Academic season is starting.  We are having our first of six virtual meets between October 26th and November 7th.  Interested in flexing your academic skills?  Come join the fun.  Practices are held throughout the week.  Want to know more, sign up here.  There are events for you:

Calculator Applications, Current Issues and Events, Debate, Journalism, Literary Criticism/Ready Writing, Number Sense/Math, Poetry and Prose Interpretation, Science, Social Studies, Spelling and Vocabulary.


Congratulations to our 9th, JV, and Varsity volleyball teams for sweeping Desoto on Friday night and sweeping Duncanville on Tuesday!  Come out and support our crew this Friday as we honor our seniors for Senior Night vs Cedar Hill.  Varsity plays at 5:30 (Senior Night to follow) and 9th and JV play at 6:30 p.m. Go Lady Eagles!


Boys basketball tryouts will begin October 28th.  You must have a physical on file to try out.  Please stop by the basketball office to sign up before October 28th.  If you are currently playing football, there will be an additional tryout time for you when your season is over.  Please see any boys basketball coach with questions.

Key Club

The next Key Club meeting will be Wednesday, October 28th at 3:30 p.m. via TEAMS.  Don't forget the deadline to become a member and pay dues is this Friday, October 30th.  Information on how to join can be found on the flyer outside room 337.

Black Student Union

BSU will have their next meeting on October 29th, at 3:30 p.m.  If you have questions about the meeting or how to join virtually, go to Room 215 and speak with Mrs. Wilson.

Math UIL

Math UIL will meet after school every Tuesday in room 208.  Come join us!
