Lake Ridge College and Career Fair

Come meet university, college prep, and military representatives in the Lake Ridge library on November 16th and 17th.  There will also be some employers there looking to hire students.  Juniors will attend during their English classes (except for dual credit English) and all AVID classes will attend.  If you are not a junior or you are in TCC English but still want to attend, fill out this request for a pass to come during lunch.

Yearbook

Students need to check their yearbook pictures and name in the cafeteria and submit the QR code form if you need corrections.  The last day to submit the form is this Wednesday, November 16th, otherwise the pictures and names will be printed in the yearbook as they are posted. 

UIL One Act Play

Attention Actors and Crew:  The LRHS 2023 UIL One Act Play submission will be "The Elephant Man" by Bernard Pomerance.   Info meeting and read-thru of the script will be in Ms. Cook's room on Monday, November 28th at 3:00 pm.  The audition process will be discussed and info will be given for those who might require schedule changes.  See you on November 28th.

Soccer Tryouts

Those interested in trying out for Girls Soccer need to go by Coach Wallace's room, A-344, to sign up.  Tryouts will be November 28th - December 1st.

Those interested in Boys Soccer need to go by Coach Elolf's room, A-121, or Coach Bridge's room, A-235, to sign up.  Tryouts will be November 28th - 29th.

Anyone trying out must have a physical on file and all MISD athletic paperwork completed.

Men's Golf

Shout out to the Men's Golf Team for finishing on top of the leaderboard this past weekend winning the Two Step Tournament sponsored by PGL.  The team consisted of Trevor Parnell, Chase Allison, Brody Horsak, Jake Milligan, and Ashton Abshier.  Trevor led the way with a nice 77 on a cold and brisk day.  When you see this young men walking around the halls, make sure to tell them Congrats!
