Freshman Class Information

If you are interested in running for a class officer position, there will be interest meetings and applications handed out on September 14th and 15th.  The deadline to turn in applications is September 24th.  The campaign period will be September 27th - October 11th.  Voting will occur October 11th and 12th.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Guffey in E-105 or E-106.

Theater Production Informational Meeting

There will be an informational meeting in the LRHS PAC Theater on Tuesday, September 14th at 3:00 pm.  We will go over the audition process and distribute links and materials for any students interested in this year's musical, "Thoroughly Modern Millie."  The performance will be in February at the MISD "big" PAC.

Ben Barber Expo

Meet with industry professionals and MISD instructors to learn more about the unique opportunities for students at Ben Barber on September 14th from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at Ben Barber Innovation Academy.

Seniors

Interested in a scholarship?  Check out the counseling page where scholarships will be added throughout the year.  The deadline for senior yearbook ads is October 1st.  Please see the yearbook website for more information and to place an order.

Important Reminders

  • Students are required to wear ID's daily and at all school-related activities and sporting events.  ID's are checked daily.  Replacement ID's cost $5.
  • Students are welcome to bring water bottles and use our bottle filling stations.  Water fountains are not in use.
  • Students should bring chromebooks or devices to school fully charged.  If you school-issued device is missing a charger or is not working properly, please see the Technology Support Technician in the library.
  • Parking permits are required for all staff and student vehicles parked on the school campus.  Parking permits are sold at the Mansfield ISD Police Department located at 1522 N. Walnut Creek St in Mansfield, behind Brooks Wester Middle School.  Vehicles cannot be backed in or pulled-through for parking.  Students must park in student parking only (white lines), and there is no parking in the visitor's area.  If you have questions about the parking guidelines, please see Officer Richardson or Officer Do.
