We are excited to welcome everyone back for the first day of the 2024-2025 school year.  Here are some important things to know.

Traffic will be very bad for the first several weeks.  Leave much earlier than you think you need to.  Car riders need to plan to arrive by 7:10 at the latest in order to make it to class on time.

On the first day, students need to report to their Advisory FIRST.  It is listed on the bottom of their schedule as 9th period.  They will receive a paper copy of their schedule and their student ID.  If students are not able to log into their Skyward account to see their schedule, we will have QR codes around the building they can scan in order to locate their Advisory classroom.

Students that have a class at Ben Barber 1st period need to report there on Wednesday.  Any classroom that starts with the letter B on the schedule is a Ben Barber class.  Classes at Ben Barber start at 7:00 am.  Students can drive, be dropped off, or ride the bus to Ben Barber.  Buses to Ben Barber will pick up in the neighborhoods VERY EARLY.  Please see the bus query on the MISD website for the pick up time and location.  Once students return to Lake Ridge, they will go to their Advisory class to get their paper schedule and ID.
