Senior iPads


It's time to start thinking about getting your iPads returned.  If your're not using them, dust them off and turn them in to Mr. Dean.  The official Senior iPad Pick-up days will be April 17th and April 18th

After Prom tickets are now available.  Tickets are only $30 during the month of March, so grab your tickets today.

Summer TCC Dual Credit Classes

Attention Summer TCC Students:

Online registration for summer TCC classes is open from March 26th to May 10th.  Please check your MISD student email account for a blast email from the district with instructions on registering.  Once seats are filled in a class, that class will be closed.  If you would like help with registration, representatives from TCC wil be here at LRHS on April 5th and 6th to assist you.

Step Team Tryouts

The Dynasty and Distinguished Gentlemen Step Teams are holding tryouts Monday, April 23rd to Thursday, April 26th in the gym from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please see First Sergeant Wade in room E-147 by April 20, 2018, if you are interested.

Musical Gala

Join us April April 19th for our Spring Musical Theatre Gala at 7:00 p.m. in the LRHS PAC.  This is a free event.  Come support your classmates and enjoy a fabulous night of musical theatre.

The Glass Menagerie

Come out and support your talented classmates as they present The Glass Menagerie in the Lake Ridge Performing Arts Center on May 4th & May 5th at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are $5.

The lady Eagles play Legacy tonight here at 6:30 p.m.  It's Senior Night, come out and cheer us on for our last home game.


Any student wanting to play in football next fall must participate in spring football practices and sign a tryout form. Forms may be picked up from Coach Covington in the PE gym, Coach Smith in Room A-152, or Coach Thor in the Football Field House. Spring practices begin on Thursday, April 26th.

Senior Spirit Night

Join us Tuesday, April 24th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Whataburger on Broad Street for food, games, and prizes.  Each senior will get a custom table number with Class of 2018 on it.  Please make sure to show your school ID.


The Lake Ridge JROTC had a successful competition at the Corsicana Drill Meet this past Saturday.

Cadets Bryan Turner and Long Tran won 1st place in the Tandem Drill Competition and Cadet Brianna McCrae won 1st place in the Girls' Individual Drill.

Creative Writing

Creative Writing Club meets every Tuesday immediately after school.  Please bring a friend, or make one there.


The Lake Ridge Band will hold training sessions and auditions for the 2018-2019 Colorguard next week, April 23-26 from 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m. in the Lake Ridge band hall. If you are interested in having fun, learning something new, and performing with the award winning Lake Ridge Marching Band, please plan to attend. No experience is necessary. Contact Mr. Bonebrake in the band hall for more information.
