Beak Week Shirts
Beak Week shirts go on sale Friday, March 2nd. Shirts are $15 and can be purchased at all lunches.
AP students be sure to check the AP testing roster in your AP teachers' classes to confirm your AP testing status. After Thursday, March 1st, you will be held responsible for your testing status submitted by your teacher. If you do not sign up, you will not take an AP exam. If you sign up to test but choose not to test on the day of the exam you will be charged $25 for the return fee. See Ms. Stewart in office O-135, if you have any questions.
Clothes Closet Community Drive
PTSA is hosting a community drive to collect items for Clothes Closet. Please donate new or unused white T-shirts between February 15th and March 2nd. Drop off your T-shirts with PTSA during snack sales on Thursdays and Fridays to be entered to win free popcorn for the entire month of March. The winner will be announced on March 3rd.
The deadline to buy your yearbook has been extended to March 9th. Order online at yearbookforever.com or see Ms. Womack in room E-131. Extra books will not be ordered.
Beak Week Talent Show Auditions
What's your talent? Show us what you've got. Beak Week Talent Show auditions will be directly after school on March 7 in E-100. Please sign up to audition with Mrs. Stinson in E-100.
Senior Prom Tickets
Senior Prom Tickets are now on sale for $75 until March 2, 2018. A permission slip is required in order to purchase a ticket. Every student must pick up a permission form from the bookkeeper. A permission slip will not be given, if student fees are not cleared. Ticket prices will be $85 from March 5th to April 6th.
It's time to start thinking about getting your iPads returned. If your're not using them, dust them off and turn them in to Mr. Dean. The official Senior iPad Pick-up days will be April 17th and April 18th.
Dr. Vaszauskas Campus Visit
In light of the tragic event that occurred in Florida a few weeks ago, Superintendent Dr. Vaszauskas will be visiting our campus to talk with our students about school safety on Tuesday, March 6th at 1:30 p.m. in the LRHS PAC.
Dr. V is committed to the safety and security of all students and staff members, so students should feel free to share their questions and concerns with him.
The Eagle Elite team performed well in competition this weekend.
JV Eagle Elite team earned the Sweepstakes and Judges Award, 1st place POM, Novelty and Military and Grand Champion JV.
The Eagle Elite officers earned the Sweepstakes and Judges Award, 2nd place Officer Jazz, 1st place Novelty and Lyrical, Champion Circle Officers as well as the highest scoring Officer Novelty and Lyrical of the entire contest.
The Varsity Eagle Elite team received the Sweepstakes and Judges Award, 1st place Jazz, 1st place Military, 1st place Kick, 2nd place POM, the Champion Circle Team and the highest scoring team for Kick and Military of the entire contest.

Have you verified the spelling of your name for your diploma? If not, go see Mrs. Whatley in O-135 during your lunch or your passing period. Why is this important? You will be charged a fee to get a corrected diploma.
Girls' Bowling Team
Congratulations to the Girls' Bowling team for their 2nd place finish in district. Good luck to them on Saturday at Regionals!
