The PIDSAL Assembly for juniors and seniors will be held Thursday, April 26th at 10:00 a.m. in the varsity gym.  

After Prom

After Prom tickets are going fast and there are only a limited amount of tickets remaining. This is the final week for tickets at the reduced price ($40). Tickets sold at the door will be $55, if available. 
Purchase tickets at Lake Ridge front office or during Snack Sales on Thursday and Friday. Don't wait, get them early before they are gone.

Summer TCC Dual Credit Classes

Attention Summer TCC Students:

Online registration for summer TCC classes is open from March 26th to May 10th.  Please check your MISD student email account for a blast email from the district with instructions on registering.  Once seats are filled in a class, that class will be closed.  If you would like help with registration, representatives from TCC wil be here at LRHS on April 5th and 6th to assist you.

Eagles beat Waxahachie Monday night to break the tie for 2nd place in district! Lake Ridge will face Burleson in the Bi-District playoffs for a 2 out of 3 game series beginning Thursday. The Eagles will play at home Thursday at 7:00 p.m., then at Burleson Friday at 6:00 p.m., and the "if necessary" game 3 on Saturday at LR at 11:00 a.m.


Don't forget to vote for student body and class officers today and tomorrow at all lunches. You will need your ID to vote.

Senior Spirit Week

Next week is senior week.  Seniors please show your school spirit and participate in senior spirit days.

Tuesday: Dress like a senior citizen

Wednesday: Wear the college shirt where you will attend college in the fall

Thursday: Throwback day: Dress to match your Kindergarten yearbook photo

Friday: Wear your cap and gown

Step Team Tryouts

The Dynasty and Distinguished Gentlemen Step Teams are holding tryouts Monday, April 23rd to Thursday, April 26th in the gym from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please see First Sergeant Wade in room E-147 by April 20, 2018, if you are interested.

The Glass Menagerie

Come out and support your talented classmates as they present The Glass Menagerie in the Lake Ridge Performing Arts Center on May 4th & May 5th at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are $5.

Senior Spirit Night

Join us Tuesday, April 24th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Whataburger on Broad Street for food, games, and prizes.  Each senior will get a custom table number with Class of 2018 on it.  Please make sure to show your school ID.

Eagle Elite

Are you interested in being a manager for the 2018-2019 Eagle Elite Drill team? If so, stop by the dance room and pick up an application packet from Mrs. Harris. Applications are due Monday, April 30th.


Lake Ridge defeated Waxahachie 6 to 5 and we are moving on to the playoffs.  Congratulations to the baseball team!


This Saturday, at the Heritage World Stride Music Festival in Boston, Massachusetts, the Lake Ridge band earned a Superior Gold Award, the Most Outstanding Concert Band in Class 5A, and the Overall Most Outstanding Concert Band of the entire festival. Congratulations to the members of the Lake Ridge Band for another job well done!

The Lake Ridge Band will hold training sessions and auditions for the 2018-2019 Colorguard, April 23-26 from 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m. in the Lake Ridge band hall. If you are interested in having fun, learning something new, and performing with the award winning Lake Ridge Marching Band, please plan to attend. No experience is necessary. Contact Mr. Bonebrake in the band hall for more information.

Women's Track

The Lady Eagles track team traveled to Joshua yesterday for the Area Track meet with 14 qualifying events, and left with 14 qualifying events for Regionals!

The 4 X 100 and 4 X 200 are your Area Champions and your 4 X 400 team were runner-ups. We won the shot put, discus, long and triple jump, and 100, and 200 as well as runners-up in the 100, 400, and high jump! The Lady Eagles were also runners up as a team by 10 points. Please wish them luck as they travel to UTA for Regionals next Friday.

Lake Ridge Volleyball Co-Ed Grass Bash Volleyball Tournament

Are you interested in playing in the 1st Annual LRVB Co-Ed Grass Bash Volleyball Tournament Friday, May 18th at 3:00 pm.? Pick up a registration form from a volleyball player or the front desk. Your registration form is due May 11th.
