Dear Seniors and Senior Parents,
Please review the following information regarding graduation.
Wednesday, May 31st: We will have a mandatory graduation rehearsal in the LRHS cafeteria starting at 3:00 pm.
Friday, June 2nd: Graduation Ceremony at 9:30 am. All students must be dropped off at 6:30 am at the LRHS cafeteria. Buses will be provided to transport students from LRHS to The Center for Performing Arts. Once students arrive at the Center, they will run through an abbreviated rehearsal prior to the ceremony which will begin promptly at 9:30 am.
On graduation day, please be sure you have planned for the following:
Cap, Gown, and Tassel are ready to go. Caps may not be decorated.
Proper attire for graduation ceremony: Girls should wear dresses, slacks or skirt, and/or blouse. Be careful when choosing shoes as you will have to walk long distances and we do not want anyone tripping as they cross the stage. Guys should wear black slacks, dress shirt, and tie. No jeans or athletic shoes.
Once graduation is over, graduates and families will find each other outside of the Performing Arts Center. It is a good idea to pre-plan your meeting place. Students and parents will not be permitted to re-enter the Center after the ceremony.
Graduates should be sure to eat before they arrive to LRHS on Friday morning. We will not have snacks or drinks for students at LRHS or the Center for Performing Arts.
Graduates will leave the Center for Performing Arts with their friends and family.
Each graduate was given 3 parking passes along with their tickets. Families should make every effort to arrive at the center in as few vehicles as possible due to limited parking.
