Student Mobile Device Survey
This is the time to make your opinion count. Please complete this short survey about your experience with mobile devices. The survey will be available through Monday, November 27th.
Verification of Enrollment
If you need a Verification of Enrollment (VOE) for a drivers permit or drivers license, you will need to request it no later than Thursday, November 16th in the Attendance office. A VOE is a 24 hour process, and the last day for pick up this week will be on Friday, November 17th.
The Varsity Football is named District Champions after defeating Waxahachie Friday, November 10th.
Lake Ridge will play Centennial at R.L. Anderson Stadium in the first round of playoffs on Friday November 17th at 7:30 p.m.
Football Fan Bus
MISD is offering shuttle buses from Mansfield HS (front of the school) for the game Friday to RLA to try and relieve the parking issues. The shuttles will start at 6:30 p.m. and run for 45 minutes after the game begins.
Football Playoff Shirts
Football "Rock Out" playoff shirts will go on sale during lunch on Thursday and Friday of this week. The t-shirts are long-sleeve and cost $15. Get ready to "Rock Out" at RLA during Friday night's playoff game.
Spirit Day 11/17
This Friday will be Fancy Friday! This is your opportunity to dress to impress and support our football team for their first playoff game of the year.

Congratulations to the members of the Lake Ridge Band who competed at the MISD All-District Band Auditions this past Monday. Forty-seven students successfully earned a position, giving Lake Ridge the most students out of the MISD high schools to earn a spot on All-Distrct for three consecutive years.
Congratulations to the Lady Eagles Basketball team! They went 2-0 in pool play games on Thursday. Way to go Lady Eagles!

The next Key Club meeting will be Wednesday, November 15th. The morning meeting will be at 7:00 a.m. in room A-337, and the afternoon meeting will be at 3:00 p.m. in the library.
If you are interested in trying out for the Lady Eagle Soccer team, please see Coach Wallace in room A-344 on Friday during advisory to get information. Tryouts will begin after school on the Monday, November 27th.

Ultimate Frisbee Club
If you are interested in joining the Ultimate Frisbee Club, please see Mr. Meyer in room A-361 or Mr. Ray in room A-314. The first meeting will be Thursday, November 16th.
Spirit Day 12/1
Friday, December 1st will be a PJ day. The rules are a little different this year. In order to wear your pajamas, you must bring a new and unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots to Mrs. Stinson in room E-100. There you will receive a wristband that is your proof of a toy donation. We also have a few dress code requirements for PJ day. If you choose to wear PJs, it must be a onesie, flannel or fleece pajamas.
African Student Organization
African Student Organization (ASO) is meeting Thursday, November 16th in room A-142. The African Student Organization, helps foster confidence and pride in being one's authentic self in African culture. This club is not limited to only African American students, it is open to all.
